The Economics & Strategy Group Ltd (ESG) provides analysis and advice in public policy, public management and organisational strategy to New Zealand and international clients. The Principals are Murray Petrie and David Webber(directors). ESG works with other highly-qualified associates where there is a need for complementary, or project–specific, specialisations.
Our Services reflect ESG’s extensive experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies, public sector management reforms, financial management and budgeting methods, strategic planning, and organisational development. Our clients include government departments, international agencies and private firms.
ESG seeks to combine the economic, financial, and strategic management skills of the Group’s senior consultants with our extensive international (cross-country) experience. Our aim is to provide clients with a focused, innovative and results-oriented approach. As a small firm, we are able to assure our clients that they are purchasing the time and skills of only highly experienced personnel, with minimal administrative or overhead costs.
